UAV365 collaborated with Scotgold Resources on an exceptional gold mine project. We utilised the unique capabilities of the Flyability Elios 2 drone and Emesent Hovermap ST LiDAR unit to survey their mine stope.
The results: a highly accurate volumetric analysis and high-resolution video for on-site inspections, all completed faster and safer than traditional methods of inspection. A fully geolocated pointcloud was then produced remotely along with a 3D mesh model which was then hosted on the web-based viewing platform Nira for the client to view as and when required off-site.
