Beecraigs country park
The UAV365 team were out at Beecraigs Loch carrying out a drone and topographical survey.
The western side of the site made for straightforward data capture, with flat ground and good flying conditions for the DJI M400. On the eastern side, the terrain told a different story, with steeper slopes, tighter access and a fair bit more legwork required.
This variation in terrain is exactly why we combine UAV LiDAR with traditional ground surveying techniques.
