4K video inspection and 3D modelling of a 236 metre long underground culvert to establish locations and sources of water ingress. It was an extremely long section with very challenging access at both ends, that required flying to the maximum range of the Elios 2, recording video and thermal data in every section.
The 3D model was used to plan and design repairs to the culvert lining, while 4K video assisted with identifying areas of concern. Our survey removed the need for the renewal of the entire culvert and pinpointed the exact area to be repaired, where previous attempts of using CCTV had been unsuccessful.
