This survey removed the need for any operatives to work at height or within a confined space. The client could extract plans and sections from our survey, which when combined with the topographical survey and ground investigations aided the design solution.
Our challenge was to capture sufficient data without having to force the closure of the railway line above. There were multiple steps within the culvert so the use of CCTV was not possible and our drone was deployed. The client confirmed, "as always the data you provided was excellent".
