In this video we’re showcasing mine surveying in low light or total darkness, creating detailed pointclouds, that make it easy to understand complex underground and confined spaces, producing powerful data for inspections and mapping. We can produce 3D maps of stopes, drawpoints, shafts or other high risk workplaces enabling you to safely check drill angles and confirm bund heights and locations.
Accurate measurements and models are made possible without being dependent on GPS. Autonomous flying is vital especially when the nature of the location is unknown and is made possible using data from real-time 'Virtual Elliptical Shield' (VESH) scanning to position the drone.
