CEELY ROAD CULVERT
Our client needed to understand the length, direction and inspection access points of an underground culvert in which Southcourt Brook travelled under a housing development.
We flew the Elios 2 drone in a 70cm diameter tunnel for 35 metres finding a hidden inspection chamber.
By overlaying a surface point cloud onto the underground point cloud, together with the HD video footage from the inspection drone flights, we could fix with pin point accuracy that the access chamber was hidden on one of the property's driveways and map the exact direction of the culvert.
